Bama getting ready to roll

Well, here we are, 3 weeks away from Bama's kickoff with Virginia Tech and the excitment is reall starting to build.
I spent last Sunday afternoon roasting in the afternoon sun, not for autographs, but for a faint glimpse at the offensive line and our new quarterback..... Who is looking better and better every day..... not that they ever looked bad.

The O-line is getting more and more praise as fall drills continue. I can kind of sense the same thing as last season began to approach... the quiet confidence that surrounds the team. Even a #5 preseason ranking, while exciting, is still a bit unnerving

The bama defense continues to get more and more praise and it sounds like we will be in good hands with Rolando McClain leading the way. Dre Kirkpatrick continues to impress each day while all but guaranteeing a starting position.

Mount Cody is down to a slimming 355 and looked really impressive at fan day.

Not much of a downside here but the one thing I did notice on the bad side was how poor Star Jackson looked. Inwould tend to believe that if he keeps this up, he would be moved to another position or loose his scholarship.

AJ was every bit the hype that has preseded him. It was quite amazing to see someone come on campus and show the ability in accuracy and precison (possibly more) than our recently departed fifth year senior, JPW.

I will post as more info comes available. The first full pads practice is today so maybe I can post more tomorrow.
